People Behind HUMAN-IT | Silva Bashllari

Silva Bashllari is a data scientist, researcher, and technology community builder whose work explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, and socio-economic transformation. Within COST Action #CA24167, she co-coordinates Sub-Group 2 of #WG3, contributing to the design of survey instruments that investigate the impact of artificial intelligence on labour markets.

Holding a Master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, her research focuses on the impact of #AI on the future of work, combining technical expertise with social science perspectives to better understand how technological change shapes labour markets and society.

Alongside her research, she actively contributes to the regional tech ecosystem through community initiatives, international collaborations, and public engagement on AI and data science. Her work combines data science methodologies with empirical research to support evidence-based insights into the future of work across Europe.

💬 A personal insight:
“I don’t believe things will turn out well, but the possibility that they might is of decisive importance, and if they do, it will be because we approached them in a genuinely interdisciplinary way.”
