People Behind HUMAN-IT | Prof. Dr. Nevila Xhindi

As Chair of COST Action CA24167 – HUMAN-IT, Prof. Dr. Nevila Xhindi leads a dynamic pan-European network dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research on the future of work, digital transformation, and human-centred innovation.

With extensive experience in coordinating EU-funded initiatives and contributing to policy development across higher education, regional development, and labour market systems, she provides the strategic leadership that guides HUMAN-IT’s scientific vision and collaborative agenda. Her work is driven by a commitment to fostering interdisciplinary cooperation, strengthening research excellence, and supporting responsible and inclusive approaches to technological transformation.

Through her leadership, HUMAN-IT brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from across Europe to address emerging challenges and opportunities at the intersection of artificial intelligence, exponential technologies, and Human Resource Management.
