Prof. Aizhan Tursunbayeva contributes to COST Action CA24167 – HUMAN-IT as Vice Leader of Working Group 2 – Exponential Organizations, Workplace & Employee Experience, supporting the Action’s research on the organisational implications of Artificial Intelligence and the future of work.
An Associate Professor of Organization Studies and Human Resource Management at the University of Naples Parthenope, her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Human Resource Management, digital transformation, and the future of work. Before pursuing an academic career, she gained extensive international experience as a Senior HR Manager at HSBC and as a strategy consultant at KPMG, bringing valuable practical insight into the intersection of research, management, and organisational practice.
Alongside her research and teaching, Prof. Tursunbayeva actively contributes to the international academic community through editorial leadership and scientific collaboration. She serves as Senior Associate Editor of the European Management Journal and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Human Resource Management, while also contributing to the organisation of leading international conferences in the fields of management and Human Resource Management.
Within HUMAN-IT, she supports the coordination of Working Group 2, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration on organisational transformation, employee experience, and the responsible adoption of exponential technologies in workplaces across Europe.
