As part of HUMAN-IT – COST Action 24167, PhD(c) Gerta Ismailaja, member of #WG3 – Social Transformations, Policy and the New Job Market, carried out a Short-Term Scientific Mission #STSM hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mariya Peneva at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), #Sofia.
The visit creates an important #bridge between research and public-sector practice, exploring how digital transformation is reshaping institutional capacity, workforce adaptation and future skills through an #Albania–Bulgaria perspective. Gerta’s professional experience in Albania’s public administration brings a valuable practitioner dimension to HUMAN-IT, demonstrating how our Action connects academic knowledge with the institutions navigating technological and societal change.
Beyond knowledge exchange, the #STSM is laying the foundations for comparative research, a joint scientific contribution and longer-term collaboration, exactly the kind of mobility, connection and knowledge co-creation that HUMAN-IT seeks to foster across #Europe.
