Day 2 of the CA24167 HUMAN-IT Core Group and WG Leadership Meeting: Planning Grant Period 2

The second day of the CA24167 HUMAN-IT Core Group and WG Leadership Meeting in Bucharest focused on the preparation of the next phase of the Action, with particular attention to the scientific, networking, implementation and budget priorities for Grant Period 2. The day began with a recap of the key points emerging from Day 1, followed by a discussion on the scientific and networking priorities for GP2. Working Group leaders contributed to identifying priorities across WG1, WG2 and WG3, while also considering opportunities for stronger cross-WG collaboration and the expected scientific and networking outputs for the upcoming period.

The meeting then moved to the planning of the GP2 Activity Network and its implementation. Discussions covered proposed Working Group activities and meetings, Training Schools, Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs), conference participation, communication and dissemination activities, as well as the timing, responsibilities and coordination needed across the Action. A dedicated session was also held on preliminary budget planning. Participants discussed budget priorities for GP2, the balance of resources across the Action, and the alignment of financial planning with the scientific and networking objectives of HUMAN-IT.

The meeting concluded with a review of the agreed actions, responsibilities and timeline for finalising the GP2 Activity Network and Budget Plan, marking the end of two productive days of coordination and forward planning for the next stage of CA24167 HUMAN-IT.
