On 14 April 2026, the Science Communication Working Group of COST Action CA24167 – HUMAN-IT held an online coordination meeting to further advance the Action’s Communication and Dissemination Strategy for the 2025–2029 implementation period.
The meeting was chaired by Noémi Bessa Vilela, Science Communication Coordinator, together with Prof. Dr. Nevila Xhindi, Chair of the Action, and brought together representatives from the Action’s Working Groups. Discussions focused on strengthening the strategic framework for communication and dissemination, enhancing coordination across Working Groups, and ensuring a coherent and effective approach to communicating the Action’s activities and scientific outcomes.
Key topics included the development of a structured content strategy, the optimisation of communication workflows, the coordination of dissemination activities, and the promotion of greater visibility among researchers, stakeholders, and the wider public. Participants also explored opportunities to strengthen the Action’s digital presence and improve internal communication through designated communication representatives within each Working Group.
The meeting concluded with agreement on a number of actions aimed at reinforcing the HUMAN-IT communication model, expanding outreach across digital platforms, and ensuring the timely and consistent dissemination of research activities, events, and scientific achievements.
This coordination meeting represents an important milestone in supporting HUMAN-IT’s commitment to effective science communication, stakeholder engagement, and the visibility of the Action’s research and collaborative activities across Europe.
